A keeper was holding up one of the snakes over a protective barrier for the backpack-wearing girl and another beside her to see.

But the bespecactled lass leans in – as if she wants to give the fearsome creature a smooch.

The snake instantly strikes – biting her face and locking its jaws around her mouth.

The keeper shrieks in shock – possibly at her foolishness – and tries to pull the snake off.

But the reptile clings onto its pretty prey and the poor young woman is almost dragged over the barrier by her face.

Ouch! We're sure she won't do that again.
