Girls granted adoption wish after sending note in ballon

Two young Tennessee foster children had their Christmas wish granted early.Six-year-old Eva and eight-year-old Jasmine attached a wish in a prayer balloon this summer asking for foster parents Lynn and Dennis to adopt them. Theirs was the only that received a response out of 30 total balloons. The balloon traveled all the way to Maryland, the wish was returned and the two young girls’ wish was granted – they now have a mother and father, they told WBIR.The Know County family came to be after the girls had bounced around a few different foster homes. After only two months with Dennis and Lynne, they decided it was time to settle down.‘We took all of the prayer requests and we sealed them in a little zip lock bag,’ Lynne told the station. ‘We took them outside and released these balloons, there was thirty of them.’'Eva 6, Jasmine 8, we want to be adopted by our new mother and father this Christmas,' the note said. The last names of both the girls and their adoptive parents have not been made public.‘The girls’ balloon is the only one to this day that has come back to us,’ she emotionally added. The blessed balloon made its way from Eastern Tennessee to an RV park in Maryland, the station noted. The people who found it mailed it back, something Lynne saw as divine intervention.‘I can just see God taking this balloon and blowing it in the right direction,’ she said. ‘To be found and be sent back to us to tell us he approves for us to be able to adopt these girls.’And so they did.The couple engaged a number of local agencies and organizations to kick start the process and have everything official by Christmas.‘“It just felt like the right thing to do, it’s what I wanted to do,’ Dennis explained. ‘All of our children total are grown in their 30s, it was an answered prayer.’The adoption was finalized this week, with Lynne hugging the two grateful girls in court. They finally have parents, a Christmas miracle.(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
