On the US stock market, the Dow Jones index rose by 0.66% to 24 962.48 and S&P 500 by 0.10% to 2 703.96, whereas NASDAQ dropped by 0.11% to 7 210.09.
 
On Europe’s stock markets, the FTSE 100 index fell by 0.40% to 7 252.39 and Germany's DAX-I by 0.07% to 12 461.91 points, while France CAC-40 rose by 0.13% to 5,309.23 points.
 
At COMEX, the price of gold declined by $3.50 to $ 1,329.20 an ounce. Similarly, the price of silver fell by $0.05 to $ 16.59 an ounce.
