The U.S. Dow Jones stock index rose by 0.08% to 25,219.38 points, S&P 500 by 0.04% to 2,732.22 points and NASDAQ slid 0.23% to 7,239.47 points.
 
In the European stock markets, FTSE 100 index decreased by 0.64% to 7,247.66 points, Germany’s DAX by 0.5% to 12,385.60, French CAC 40 by 0.53% to 5,256.18, APA-Economics reported.
 
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold prices descended $12.70 to $1,343.50 an ounce and silver price dropped $0.18 to $16.53.
