Some ( most) of naive people in Azerbaijan sincerely believe that Putin in the Kremlin is day and night thinking about how to return to Azerbaijan the land seized by Armenia and not to lose the love of Armenians. This belief is based more on wishful thinking than reality. But reality tells all about Kremlin's other sentiments, notable for leaking disparate facts to the press. It remains to connect these facts as puzzles in a clear image.

One puzzle of the kind is information in the Yerevan newspaper Haykakan Zhamanak that for a long time a semi-secret club operates under the Griboyedov name in Armenia. Its founder is the first person of the political propaganda of the Kremlin - to December 9, 2013 known newscaster Dmitry Kiselev , now Putin-designated CEO of the Russian state news agency Russia Today.

In order to guess the secret, in fact explicit purpose of this club it is enough to recall the historical figure whose name the club is named.

The Russian ambassador to Persia ( Iran ) Alexander Griboyedov ( 1795-1829 ) was famous not only for his immortal dramatic works (Woe from Wit, etc.) , but also for organizing and conducting a campaign to resettle Iranian Armenians in the Caucasus , and in particular, in Azerbaijan . The purpose of the Russian Empire was clear and openly declared: Armenians were Christians and Russia wanted to use them against the freedom of the Muslim peoples of the Caucasus, to protect the interests of Russia.

The main stream of immigrants was sent to the South Caucasus , especially to the lands of North Azerbaijan. A Russian official and publicist Shavrov in 1911 wrote that "of the 1 million 300 thousand Armenians living at the moment in the Caucasus, more than 1 million people do not belong to the region and were moved there by us... With the resettlement of Armenians to the Transcaucasia special emphasis was made on their placement in northern Azerbaijan , especially in the lands of Nakhchivan, Irevan and Karabakh. This same mission was performed by Turkish Armenians in Turkey during the war with Russia, united in an anti-Turkish bloc with the European states . The Yerevan government opponents speak out about this very clearly: the Kremlin deprived Armenia of its sovereignty.
