Head of EC welcomes agreement of 13th sanctions package

The head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen has confirmed the information that the 13th package of EU sanctions will include about 200 individuals and legal entities.

"I welcome the agreement on our 13th sanctions package against Russia. […] With 2000 listings in total, we keep the pressure high on the Kremlin. We are also further cutting Russia’s access to drones,” she wrote on X.

As a result, the total blacklist associated with the Russian Federation expanded to a record 1,800 individuals and legal entities. Thus, the head of the EC confirmed unofficial information according to which, due to the 13th package of sanctions, about 200 more people and organizations will be added to this list.

The European Union (EU) has approved the 13th package of sanctions against Russia, according to diplomatic sources, reported from TASS.

The sanctions package reportedly includes about 200 individuals and legal entities.
