Throughout July, the UN Security Council will hold hearings on the large-scale war that Russia is waging in Ukraine, and events taking place in the region will be on the agenda, British Permanent Representative to the UN Barbara Woodward said while answering journalists’ questions at the organization’s headquarters in New York.

She noted that a special meeting on artificial intelligence will be held in July under the chairmanship of the British side in the Security Council.

Artificial intelligence threatens peace and security, she said, adding that an integral part of the UN activities in July will be related to nuclear weapons.
