December 14 Baku Creative Center doors opened for the young and talented amateur local historian Siyavush Alizadeh.

The exhibition, entitled "The First and the Last " was devoted to the historical heritage of the Azerbaijani people.

Sayavush Alizadeh is a 25-year-old young man who decided to devote his life to the history of his homeland. He collects antiques - pottery , rugs, copper utensils , old books, works of contemporary artists and the things that belonged to famous people . He keeps these artifacts while at home, but wants to open a museum. He receives these items as a gift from his friends, relatives and famous people of Azerbaijan. His collection has lasted for more than 10 years.

Here you can see the ancient manuscripts and books in Arabic, highland carpets made by needlewomen in the 30s of the twentieth century, with the disc of gramophone records Melody of the Soviet era. A calculating machine of the company Felix was standing near old jugs, boxes, small chests and even abacus with which our parents went to school. And there was an inkwell with a wooden handle with a feather, which were used in the 60s of the twentieth century.

On all the walls of the gallery hung paintings , both by beginners and already known authors. There were many homespun rugs made in national traditions , painted with natural dyes, which even after many years have not lost their brightness and freshness.

In special stands with glass lids there were signs and medals of the Great Patriotic War era.

Visitors to the exhibition had pleasant memories from the national musical instruments zurna and balaban and the identity card of the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan SSR Zeynalov Bahruz Mahmud oglu . They even remembered how Bahruz muallim performed in concerts , and what a wonderful man he was.

There was a lot of money from different eras from the VI to the XVIII century. This included copper plates, round and square money, paper of different sizes with inscriptions in Arabic and Russian. Smile at the people was caused by the bill of 1,000,000 rubles. Could this ever be real?

It was interesting to see millstones for grinding grain and producing flour and an old wooden basin to roll dough and cook pita bread.

On the walls were old gouache sketches for the ballet Spartacus (costumes) and Golden Key and the opera Arshin Mal Alan.

There were so many people that it was impossible to approach the stand . Literally we had to wait in line.

Here took place the presentation of two books by Alizadeh.

Siyavush is from a small village Shagan in Baku and so he wrote a book about his fellow villagers and the village, which is called Shagan and Shagan People, and the second book is dedicated to the Baku dialect, making it like a dictionary (So Talk People from Baku - Baku Dialect) .

Siyavush distributed his books to everyone for free. He wanted everyone to leave his show with a portion of his labor.

The chief guest of the event was the People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, singer Flora Karimova. The people welcomed her and asked to be photographed with her. She was good-hearted like a real lady and never refused anyone. Flora Khanum was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who came to the meeting with their past. She plunged into those times when life and people were a little different.

And then in the gallery appeared an actor and director, Eternal Baku Man and patriot Bahram Bagirzadeh. The youth surrounded him and did not let him go until he photographed with everyone. Bahram wished the hero of the occasion to continue his noble work for the good of the motherland .

When the guests enjoyed contemplating the treasures collected by the young ethnographer Siyavush Alizadeh, Doctor of Historical Sciences, ethnographer Tavakkul Salimov congratulated him on this show, thanked for work on behalf of the motherland, and wished to continue this work.

Then meykhana (Azeri limericks) performer Samir Yusifgyzy read poems written specifically in the honor of Siyavush, which were met with loud applause.

Flora Karimova warmly commended the activities of such a young person who is interested in the history and traditions of his people. And she wished him success in his difficult work.

Also spoke a relative and countryman of Siyavush Alizadeh, who thanked him for not forgetting his roots, from where he is and who he is.

The schoolteacher of Siyawush could not hold back tears when she came to congratulate him on this show , saying that at school he organized exhibitions of antiques for the children of his school. Even as a child , he knew what he wanted to do.

The artist Chinghiz Mehbaliyev created Siyavush's image, which was implemented both in the picture and on postage stamps issued in Hungary. The image was a Siyavush with coins instead of hair , ancient books on the forehead, a carpet on the neck and an inkstand with a pen, and all this against the background of Baku.

Good luck and success to you, Siyavush Alizadeh , in your noble job!
