Hulusi Akar: 'Türkiye will continue to support Azerbaijan’s just struggle'
02.05.2023 16:30
We will continue to support the just struggles of our friends, brothers, and allies, especially Azerbaijan and Libya, Turkiye's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said, reported from Star.

He said that the government is now trying to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake that occurred on February 6, as well as ensuring the border security of the country: "We continue fighting against terrorism, regardless of the terrain and climate conditions. In addition, we also contribute to regional and global peace through initiatives such as the deal. We want to continue these activities."

Akar said that as a result of the existing opportunities in the national defense industry, Türkiye has a distinguished position among the world's armies: "We want to further expand our opportunities in the field of the defense industry. Everything done in the field of defense and security shows Türkiye’s strength as a global political actor."

The minister reminded that 80% of Türkiye’s defense industry is already domestic production: "Available resources are able to satisfy the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as meet the defense needs of brother and allied countries."
