Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will report to the head of the agency, Rafael Grossi, on the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with respect for the plant's safety principles, reported from TASS.

Grossi said on the occasion of the opening session of the IAEA Board of Governors that the principles were developed in consultations with Moscow and Kyiv.

These principles are necessary as the Zaporizhzhia NPP has been increasingly at risk in recent months due to the intensification of hostilities, he added.
