IDF says two Israeli hostages killed by Hamas

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has said that two Israeli citizens, who were held hostage by the radical Palestinian group Hamas, have been killed. The bodies of the victims still remain in the Gaza Strip, and the circumstances surrounding their deaths are currently being investigated.

According to Israeli media reports citing the IDF spokesperson, the families of the abducted individuals, Alex Dantzig and Yagev Bukhshtab, were informed on Sunday that their loved ones were no longer alive and that their bodies were in the possession of the terrorist organization Hamas.

The IDF stated that the relevant authorities are examining the circumstances under which both hostages died while in Hamas captivity.
