Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev offered condolences to India’s President Pranab Mukherjee over heavy casualties caused by a passenger train crash in the country.
"I was deeply saddened by the news of heavy casualties caused by a passenger train crash in Uttar Pradesh state,” said President Aliyev.
"On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deep condolences to you, the families and the loved ones of those who died and the people of India, and wish the injured the soonest possible recovery,” he added.
