Inflation in Norway reaches 35-year high

Prices for goods and services in Norway have increased by an average of 6.3% over the past 12 months, the highest since 1988, the Kingdom's Central Statistical Bureau (SSB) said in a statement.

Reported from TASS, that in June, the further acceleration of annual inflation was primarily facilitated by rising fuel and food prices, the latter having risen by 2% in the last month alone.

Food prices in Norway reached 'unusually high levels' in June, according to the information.
