Iran-Afghanistan flights resumed
16.09.2021 13:40
After a month-long break, flights between Iran and Afghanistan have resumed, informs al-Alam TV.

On September 15, an aircraft of Iran's Mahan Air, flying from Mashhad, landed at Kabul Airport with 19 passengers on board.

The plane then flew with passengers from Kabul to Mashhad.

After the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan, the Kabul Airport's Flight Control Center said the systems had failed and had been handed over to the United Nations. After that, Afghan airspace was closed for all flights. Therefore, on August 16, the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, including Mahan Airlines, suspended flights to Kabul.
