Iran eyes signing comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with Russia

Iran is ready to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with Russia in October at the BRICS summit in Kazan, President-elect of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, said in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, reported from TASS.

"The preparation of documents on a comprehensive cooperation agreement between Iran and Russia has been completed, we are ready to sign it on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Russia. We attach great importance to relations with Russia, our friend and neighbor, and, undoubtedly, we will strengthen these relations,” Pezeshkian noted.
