Iran categorically denies claims by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen about the supply of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia for use in the conflict in Ukraine, Iranian Embassy in Belgium wrote on X.

"Iran categorically rejects unfounded and politically-motivated allegations of providing drones for use in the war in Ukraine. Those officials in the European institutions who have remained silent towards Israel’s genocide in Gaza have no credibility,” reads the statement.

On February 28, Ursula von der Leyen made a statement that the Iranian authorities were supplying Russia with samples and technologies for the production of attack drones.
