Zeagoo’s $10 ‘Bandage Dress’ is being sold on Amazon alongside an image (which was taken down this morning) of a woman with an impossibly small waist and wide hips. The model’s curves are humanly impossible, according to sites like The Gloss and Jezebel, which went on to label the company’s alleged retouching as ‘creepy’ and ‘shady’.The dress-in-question comes in an array of colors including black, white, purple, and green.Photos of the white iteration show how the edges of the model's skin are jagged - often an indication of PhotoshopJezebel opined that ‘while the model is a very pretty lady, the company apparently decided she needed more curves, as well as a bit of angular jutting out at the hips.'The Gloss was more animated in their description of the photos, writing: ‘She kind of looks like a Sim, or perhaps one of the characters in N64 Goldeneye. On the not-so-bright side, she does not even look like a human being anymore because this is simply not what human beings look like.’After The Gloss posted its initial coverage of the photos, Zeagoo appears to have removed the images from the Amazon listing – replacing them with photos of the brand’s packaging instead.Aside from Photoshop allegations, Jezebel also wondered about the nature of the dress design itself – questioning what kind of underwear one would pair with it.Amazon reviewers who had purchased the dress did not discuss their discontent with the photos. Many however, did note that the dress ran a bit large. Some did not appreciate the quality of the fabric.Zeagoo - based in Shenzhen, a major city in China’s southern Guangdong province - appears to only sell its wares in North America through Amazon. Most of the brand’s designs are similar to the dress found in the offending pictures – a series of tight, often neon-colored designs with cut-outs to reveal cleavage and midriff flesh.(dailymail.co.uk)Bakudaily.az
