Italian embassy expresses indignation at cowardly attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran

The Embassy of Italy in Azerbaijan has expressed admiration for the prompt and courageous reaction of the security personnel of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran.
"The Italian Embassy expresses deep indignation at the cowardly attack in Tehran and extends sincere condolences to the family of the fallen. While wishing the injured a speedy recovery, we express admiration for the prompt and courageous reaction of the security personnel," the embassy said on Twitter.
A gunman stormed the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, killing the head of the embassy's security service on January 27. Two other officers of the security service were wounded while resisting the attack. Their condition is satisfactory.
The attacker was detained by employees of the Azerbaijani embassy.
