The Italian government has frozen the accounts, movable and immovable property and other assets of citizens of Russia and Belarus worth 2 billion euros following the sanctions imposed by the European Union (EU), Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit for Italy (UIF) Enzo Serata said.
According to him, as of the end of June 2023, 170 financial contracts have been suspended. The total amount of frozen funds is over 330 million euros.
