Kapital Bank finalized the placement of subordinated dollar bonds by subscription

As previously reported, on August 26, 2024, Kapital Bank OJSC listed subordinated bonds totaling 30,000,000 USD in the premium market segment.
The subscription placement of these bonds on the Baku Stock Exchange was completed on September 26, 2024. A total of 160 investors, including 159 individuals and 1 legal entity, submitted 171 orders. The total demand for the bonds reached 35 211 100 USD, with individuals accounting for 28 807 200 USD (96.02%) and legal entities for 1 192 800 USD (3.98%).

Each bond has a nominal value of 100 USD, an annual interest rate of 7%, with payments made every 30 days, and a maturity period of 7 years. The bonds are uncertified, registered, interest-bearing, and unsecured. The underwriter for the bond placement is "PASHA Capital Investment Company” CJSC.
This bond issue marked the first time that subscription was available through Kapital Bank’s branches, which saw significant demand from individual investors. The goal of offering subscription through branches was to strengthen market confidence and expand individual access to investment tools.
 
Kapital Bank aims to continue offering new and attractive investment instruments, encouraging active participation of individuals in the capital markets.
It should also be noted that in 2024, Kapital Bank successfully completed six bond issues with a total volume of 125 million USD and 100 million AZN.
