The Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Ministry and the Ministry of Agriculture have approved the fixed price of fuel at 95 tenge per 1 liter for farmers during the spring field works, Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov said at a press conference.

He specified that this is applied to three main grain sowing regions – Akmola, north of Kazakhstan and Kostanay, but in the southern regions the price will be lower.

“Total volume of sold fuel will be 360,000 tons and the market price fluctuations will not affect this volume,” Minister said.

At present 1 liter of diesel fuel costs 102 tenge at the petrol stations, reported www.Oilnews.kz.
