The King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa appealed to Russia to support the idea of holding a peace conference to resolve the conflict in the Middle East under the auspices of the UN, reported from TASS.

As Report reports with reference to TASS, he stated this before the start of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"In the Arab world there is complete understanding and agreement that it is necessary to hold a peaceful international conference [on Palestine]. Russia will be the first country to which I will appeal to support the idea of holding such a conference," the king said before negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
