Kuleba assesses likelihood of NATO troops entering Ukraine

The countries of the North Atlantic Alliance will not send troops to the territory of Ukraine before the end of the war, Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said during a local TV program, reported from RBC-Ukraine.

"Until the end of the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine, foreign states will not send their troops. Moreover, we do not ask for this," Kuleba said.

The minister stressed that after Ukraine becomes a member of the Alliance, Ukrainian brigades will be deployed in other NATO countries.

Earlier, the former head of NATO, Anders Rasmussen, said that some countries of the Alliance may want to send troops to Ukraine if Kyiv is not provided with real security guarantees at the upcoming Vilnius summit.
