Moritz Lampert fired a final-round 66 on Sunday and he held on to win the Azerbaijan Golf Challenge Open by two shots.
Lampert finished the event at The National Azerbaijan Golf Club at 16-under 272, beating out Michael Lorenzo-Vera.
Lampert has been on fire this year, with Sunday's victory being his third of the season on the European Challenge Tour. The win is also the third of Lampert's career. He also won the Karnten Golf Open and the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana earlier this year.
Three birdies on the front nine had Lampert going early on Sunday. A gain at the par-5 second hole put him in red numbers, and another birdie at No. 5 had Lampert at minus-2. Following a par at No. 7, Lampert made another birdie at the par-4 seventh and parred the final two holes on the front nine.
A birdie at 10 had Lampert at minus-4 for the day, but he gave that shot back with his first bogey at 13. Lampert responded right away, however, with a birdie at 13. Back-to-back birdies at 15 and 16 were the difference for Lampert, as he parred the last to finish at 6-under for his round.
Lorenzo-Vera carded a 3-under 69 to complete his fourth straight round in the 60s. It was not enough, however, as he ended at 14-under 274 to finish two shots back.
Steven Brown (66) and Andrew Johnston (68) ended in a tie for third at 13- under 275, while Andrew Marshall (70) and Alexander Bjork (72) finished tied for fifth at minus-12.
