French President Emmanuel Macron allows troops to be sent to Ukraine to bolster his ego, the head of the National Rally faction Marine Le Pen said in the French Parliament, reported from BFMTV.

"He wants to send the military for the sake of his own ego, personal image. I’m saying that we should not play with the lives of our soldiers,” the politician noted.

She added that she was amazed at the ease with which Macron raised the topic of sending the military to Ukraine, and added that an armed conflict is "the worst thing that can happen to the country, to the people.”
