Several Lithuanian energy sector enterprises will provide electrical equipment worth 50 million euros to Ukraine, the Energy Ministry of Lithuania said.

"A protocol on the handover of the equipment was signed, taking into account the wishes of the Ukrainian side,” the ministry said.

Ukraine will receive five electric generators, a set of gas pipe couplings, more than 200 transformers, 7,300 solar modules and 17 voltage converters from the Vilnius thermal power plant, which was closed for environmental reasons in 2015.
