Türkiye is more than 50% likely to hold the second round of presidential elections, since the chances of the current head of state Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his main rival, the single opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu, are almost equal. The second round of elections, if none of the candidates receives more than 50% of the votes, will be held on May 28, reported from Hurriyet.

The final list of candidates included the current head of state, 69-year-old Erdogan as a candidate from the Republican Alliance, the candidate from the opposition People's Alliance, 74-year-old Kilicdaroglu, as well as the leader of the Memleket party, 58-year-old Muharrem Ince and 55-year-old candidate from the Ata alliance Sinan Ogan.
