The US is pushing Yerevan to sign a peace treaty with Baku soon, Hrapark said.

As reported, Washington wants Azerbaijan and Armenia to approve the initial version of the peace agreement by the end of May.

According to Hrapark, the last visit of US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Erika Olson, to both countries is related to this.

However, since Armenia is far from the peace agenda, the United States is expected to increase pressure on Yerevan.
