The Armenian side purposefully continues military threats against Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan said in a statement. 

According to the statement, one of the main threats to the large-scale reconstruction works in the post-conflict period after the liberation of the territories of Azerbaijan, to the military personnel and the civilian population operating in these territories, as well as to the return of internally displaced persons and their peaceful living in their places, is the fact that Armenia purposefully mined the Azerbaijani territories over the past 30 years and continues to bury mines. 

"Contrary to paragraph 4 of the Tripartite Statement dated November 10, 2020, Armenia continues illegal military activities in the territories of Azerbaijan, avoids withdrawing its forces from the territory of Azerbaijan, and continues to plant a large number of anti-personnel mines in the territories of Azerbaijan. This causes an increase in the number of people killed by mines not only on the former contact line but also in other areas," the statement said.
