Military expert: Ukrainian forces launch attack near Kherson, liberate several settlements

The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack in the direction of Kherson, and liberated several settlements, military expert Taras Berezovets, an officer of the Ivan Bogun special brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said in a statement to the Eastern European bureau.
He noted that yesterday the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack in the southern direction of the temporarily occupied city of Kherson:
"Several settlements have already been liberated from the enemy. Due to the lack of information, people can't get a detailed picture of the operation's progress. There is too much 'fake' information. For example, yesterday the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could not make any progress. That does not reflect the truth".
Berezovets said that all three main crossings on the Dnieper River were destroyed by the fire launched by the US-made HIMARS rocket launcher system:
"Thus, the enemy has almost no way to retreat. According to information, the enemy's first defense line has been breached. The Russian paratroopers standing behind this defense line consisting of the so-called DPR forces were also forced to flee. Our warriors are striking the enemy's manpower and equipment," he added.
