Azerbaijan reports intense ceasefire violations by Armenia

Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire 131 times in the past 24 hours, using heavy machine-guns and mortars to fire on Azerbaijani army positions, the Defense Ministry in Baku said.
The enemy was silenced by retaliatory fire, the ministry said on its website.
There were no reports of death or injury on the Azerbaijani side during the firefight.
An Azerbaijani soldier was killed by Armenian fire in the border district of Gadabay last week.
Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry said five Armenian soldiers also died in the fighting.
