Miracle survival for ‘reckless’ woman who fell beneath freight train - VIDEO

The clip shows the woman, branded ‘stupid’ by police officers, jumping on to an open carriage as her friend watches from the station platform.But she loses her balance and slips between two carriages, with her distraught companion fearing the worst as the train passes over her.The commuter can be seen lying motionless on the tracks for a few seconds before getting to her feet and pulling herself back on to the platform.‘This girl has probably learned a lesson the hard way, she could have been killed or seriously injured,’ Detective Inspector Mick Bostock told 7News.‘It’s an offence for someone to touch a passing train or attempt to touch a passing train, so to actually try and jump on a moving goods train is very reckless and I wouldn’t recommend it.’The incident happened as the woman waited for the last train home at Springwood Station in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, on December 28.The woman needed only stitches and was discharged from hospital the same day.(metro.co.uk)ANN.Az
