The woman who featured in the viral Photoshop video that stormed the internet this fall has now been transformed into a 'fat Santa' in the run-up to Christmas.Victors & Spoils, a Colorado-based advertising agency, decided to give the already-altered image of Sally Gifford Piper - showing her as a bikini-clad blonde bombshell - a seasonal revamp. A 36-second-long time-lapse clip shows how they went about adding hundreds of pounds to her stomach, arms and legs and shortening her petite frame to make it more stocky.Facial wrinkles, pale skin, spectacles and a mop of gray curly hair completed Miss Gifford Piper's rather unflattering transformation into Mr Claus.A caption included in the video before the digital retouching begins, reads: 'Ad agencies go to disturbing lengths to create the perfect image. Guess we’re no different.'One viewer wrote after watching it: 'Hysterical. He looks very sexy.'Another added: 'Astonishing. Pretty can be ugly in no time.'Many will recognize Mrs Gifford Piper from the Photoshop video that caused a stir this October. The 36-second clip, made by her director husband, Tim Piper, for GlobalDemocracy.com, sees her go from 'imperfect' to 'perfect' with a few clicks of a mouse. They made the 'Body Evolution' video in a bid to get mandatory disclaimers on all photos of airbrushed models.Victors & Spoils decided to use the 'perfect' image of Mrs Gifford Piper with a flat stomach, long limbs and a flawless complexion, and take it to a new level.Mrs Gifford Piper, 35, an actress from New York City, previously said that she is proud to be imperfect. She told Entertainment Tonight that she is determined to fight for more varied role models in the media.'I feel really angry about the pressure on women and the reality is that most of us don't look like these perfect women,' she said.'I think there needs to be a celebration of all different shapes and sizes. And we need to see more variety and I'm determined to fight for that.'I got attention for the right thing, I think, as opposed to getting attention for being perfect,' said Mrs Gifford Piper, who welcomed a baby three months ago. 'I got attention for being imperfect. So it's a little less pressure.'Her video, which was first posted online 2012 but came to the public's attention this fall, has been viewed 267,901 times to date.In the course of it being shared and re-posted online, the video has ignited a discussion about airbrushed ads.Indeed, one commentator noted recently: 'While agencies have the right to Photoshop people (it's Free Speech), it's deceptive, it's also wrong. 'You're creating a false image of beauty, you're also making people feel fat, including skinny people that can't compete with the Photoshop image. 'Of course, having worked in advertising, I get it why they do it, but I still prefer REAL BEAUTY whenever possible.'(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
