An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale has jolted Azerbaijan’s section of the Caspian Sea, 82 km north-east of Artyom iseland, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake took place on Jan. 2 at a depth of 37 km. There were no reports of damage or injury.
