Moldova expels Russian diplomat

Moldova has declared an employee of the Russian embassy persona non grata after the incident with the refusal of entry into the country to the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Filip Cojocaru told reporters on Wednesday.

"It was decided to declare an employee of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau persona non grata on the territory of our country. Two more employees of the embassy are denied special access to the airport," Cojocaru said.
