Asim Mollazade, chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party of Azerbaijan (DRPA), is in Brazil on a visit.
Mollazade, also a member of Azerbaijan’s parliament, has met with a number of Brazilian officials, including the minister of high technologies and innovations, deputy foreign minister, members of the Brazilian Senate and National Congress (parliament).
Issues discussed during the meetings included Azerbaijani-Brazilian relations, inter-parliamentary ties, cooperation in the areas of culture, science, education, energy and high technologies.
Mollazade spoke in detail about Azerbaijan and highlighted the potential for cooperation between the two countries in the fields listed above.
The DRPA leader had earlier visited several Latin American countries including Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, where he held meetings with senior government officials.
