The actors of the musical theatre Gelikon Opera based in Moscow played the opera ‘Siberia’ by Italian composer Umberto Giordano in the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku on 3 November.Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva also participated in the play.  The play was about a love between two young people, which began in the royal Petersburg and tragically ended in exile.The play was directed by artistic director of the Moscow musical theater Gelikon Opera, People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Bertman. This opera has been included in the repertoire of the theater for already seven yearsThe opera ‘Siberia’ is a work in two acts, created based on Leo Tolstoy's novel "Resurrection." The premiere took place at La Scala in Milan on 19 December, 1903.
