31.05.2024 13:30
The destructive activities of the United States and its allies exerts the main negative impact on the military-political situation in the regions of collective security of the CSTO countries, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said at a meeting of the CSTO Defense Ministers Council in Almaty,  reported from Russian media.

"I largely agree with the assessments of the military-political situation in the regions of collective security voiced today. It remains complex and requires our close attention. The main negative influence on the development of the situation is exerted by the destructive activities of the United States and its allies," Belousov said.

According to him, Washington and its allies are consistently destroying the global security architecture in order to maintain global dominance.

"They deliberately provoke crises, armed conflicts, support terrorist and extremist structures, apply all kinds of sanctions, use threats and blackmail," the Russian minister said.
