Mustafa Sentop: EU fails to fulfill promises it gave to Turkey

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mustafa Sentop, has arrived on an official visit to Spain, during which he made statements both for local and international media.

According to the Turkish bureau, the Turkish parliament speaker accused the European Union (EU) of irresponsible and illegal conduct in migration policy.

"The European Union must accept a sufficient number of migrants as part of its migration program," the Turkish official said.
Sentop said the EU failed to fulfill the promises it gave to Turkey, and it won't be able to resolve the issue of illegal migration only through financial assistance.
