Some Democrats believe that the assassination attempt against former US President Donald Trump increased his chances of winning the election, NBC said, citing sources.

The consultant of the Democratic Party said succinctly: "The presidential race ended last night.”

NBC noted that undecided voters are likely to vote "sympathetically” for Trump. On the other hand, US President Joe Biden’s disastrous performance in the debate and the confusion in the Democratic Party are in favor of the Republicans.
