The new Commander of the Internal Troops will be introduced to the personnel today, spokesperson for the Internal Troops Tarana Mammadova told APA.

She said the newly-appointed Commander of the Internal Troops, Major-General Shahin Mammadov had been first deputy chief of staff of the Internal Troops.

Former Commander of the Internal Troops Zakir Hasanov was appointed as Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense under the order signed by the President of Azerbaijan.
