The European Union has no "rosy future" in a good sense, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with the Russian media following the results of 2023.

"I don’t see such a rosy future, or rather a rosy future in a good sense, in the European Union. In other senses, they have already defined this future for themselves," he noted.
