Over 23,700 people missing in Ukraine

23,7600 civilians are considered missing due to large-scale war in Ukraine, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Timchenko said, reported from the press service of the ministry.

He noted that since the start of the war, 101,543 cases of missing persons have been recorded, and then the data were entered into a single register.

"Later, as a result of priority inspection measures, 54,310 people were found,” Timchenko said.

After taking all the necessary measures, a search was announced for 31,330 people, 7,570 of them were found, and the rest are considered missing under special circumstances. These include armed conflict, military operations, temporary occupations, and natural or man-made emergencies.
