PASHA Bank now corporate member of Azerbaijan accountants association

PASHA Bank, one of the leading private banks in Azerbaijan, has signed a corporate membership agreement with the Azerbaijan Accountants and Risk Professionals Association (ARPA), Trend reports referring to the ARPA press service.

Thus, the association has included another financial institution that plays an important role in the economic sustainability and stability of Azerbaijan.

The bank became the 21st corporate member of the association. In addition to PASHA Bank, the corporate participants of ARPA includes 11 banks and 8 insurance companies, as well as the mobile network operator Azercell.

ARPA was formed in 2009 as a non-governmental organization operating in the field of risk management, and then expanded its scope of activity through accounting. Presently, in accordance with changes in the national legislation on accounting, the association is implementing important measures to educate professional accountants in Azerbaijan.
