Speaking to the media following his meeting with Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi, Pashinyan expressed confidence that "not only Armenia and Azerbaijan are the beneficiaries of peace, but Georgia, Türkiye, and Iran will equally benefit from it."
The prime minister believes that there is a genuine historic opportunity in the South Caucasus to close the chapter of conflict and establish lasting peace in the region.
Pashinyan revealed that Armenia and Azerbaijan have managed to agree on approximately 80% of the peace treaty.
"We have proposed to Azerbaijan to sign the agreed provisions of the draft document, establish diplomatic relations, and continue discussions in the near future," he stated.
