‘Petkim Peninsula will be one of the largest manufacturing centers in Europe’

Petkim Peninsula will be one of the largest manufacturing centers in Europe, said Kenan Yavuz, president of SOCAR Turkey Energy, SOCAR`s largest company in Turkey, AzerTag reports.

Addressing the 22nd International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference in Baku, Mr Yavuz provided detailed information about Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) project, the main part of the Southern Gas Corridor, Star oil refinery, reconstruction of Petkim petrochemical holding, Petlim port, a new coal thermal power station in Petkim peninsula and wind power stations.

"With more than $20 billion investment, SOCAR is the largest foreign investor in Turkey, and will be the second largest company in the country by 2018,” he said.
