Plane carrying radioactive substances makes emergency landing at Moscow's Vnukovo airport

The aircraft flying en route Khanti-Mansiysk-Moscow landed at the Vnukovo airport having sent a distress signal. The plane was carrying 19 kg of radioactive substances on board, reported from the Telegram channel Shot.


According to the information, a Utair plane with 104 passengers on board sent a distress signal about a landing gear malfunction at about 01:00.


"There are 19 kilograms of radioactive substance on board, which belongs to the category of dangerous goods, but is permitted by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation," the channel notes. The dangerous cargo on board was not damaged.
