Hikmet Hajiyev holds high-level talks in Iran

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, shared updates on meetings held during his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran via his official account on the social platform X.
According to Report.az, Hajiyev said he delivered a one-on-one format speech at the Tehran Dialogue Forum, where he discussed the new global order, regional responsibility, inclusivity, the deepening of Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral cooperation, and strengthening peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
He also noted meetings with Mehdi Sanai, Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Iranian Presidential Administration, and Dr. Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.
“As a continuation of the Iranian president’s recent visit to Azerbaijan, we reviewed the current state and future prospects of friendly bilateral relations between our countries,” Hajiyev wrote.
He traveled to Iran to attend the Tehran Dialogue Forum.
