Israel's incoming ambassador presents copy of his credentials to Azerbaijan's foreign minister

The newly appointed Ambassador of Israel, Ronen Krausz, presented a copy of his credentials to Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov.
Citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that Bayramov congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
The parties also discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, as well as the regional situation.
The participants of the meeting highly praised Azerbaijan-Israel cooperation in political, economic, trade, energy, agricultural, investment, and humanitarian spheres, as well as in security matters, and emphasized that the relations have broad prospects for further development.
Jeyhun Bayramov noted that the situation in the Middle East causes serious concern. Azerbaijan calls for the establishment of peace and stability and is always ready to contribute to this process, the minister stressed.
The ambassador, in turn, stated that during his tenure, he will spare no effort to expand cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan.
On January 12, 2025, Ronen Krausz, Director of the Eurasia Department at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was appointed as the new ambassador to Azerbaijan. Krausz replaced George Deek in this position.
