Azerbaijan extradites Tajik national wanted for fraud

Azerbaijan has extradited Rano Sharipova, a Tajik citizen born in 1973 who was internationally wanted since 2021 on fraud charges, official sources said on Tuesday.

Sharipova was arrested in Azerbaijan earlier this year and was handed over to Tajik authorities under escort by the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service.
